Online Employment Forms Now Available in myGov
The Australian Taxation Office (ATO) has expanded its online services, allowing individuals to complete key employment and tax forms directly through their myGov account linked to the ATO.

These New Employment and Employment Details online forms can now be used as an alternative to the traditional paper versions of the following:
- Tax File Number (TFN) declaration
- Withholding declaration
- Medicare levy variation declaration
- Superannuation Standard Choice form
The online forms are pre‑filled with your existing tax and super information, helping reduce errors and making the process quicker and more accurate. They also eliminate the need to send paper forms to the ATO.
To get started, log in to your myGov account and ensure it is linked to the ATO. Then navigate to:
ATO → Employment → New employment (for a new job) or
ATO → Employment → Employment details (to update existing information).

Before completing the online forms, have the following details ready:
- Your new employer’s Australian Business Number (ABN)
- Employment type (full‑time, part‑time, or casual)
- Superannuation fund details, including USI and ABN if nominating a super fund
